Raised in California and transplanted to Utah. Married my college sweetheart from Montana, and we are raising 4 nuggets together. I love all things DIY projects and doing them on a budget. I don’t mind messing up and am ok with the 90/10 rule - nothing is perfect over here and it’s fine by me! Encouraging all ‘wanna-be’ DIYers to just get out there and try it! You will be so glad you did.”
My master bedroom has been through many changes over the years. I love learning new styles and incorporating them into my home. This Fall I am partnering up with Wayfair to show how easy it is to find new ideas to refresh your bedroom. Check out a few different ways I have styled this space in the past:
I generally like to style my area in a Farmhouse Industrial tone, renovating old furniture and finding deals that are rustic and country. But lately I have been really interested in trying out the Bohemian style in my home.
After searching “Bohemian Style” on the internet I found that it means:
Bohemian styles are defined by a lack of structure, opting instead for carefree layers of pattern, texture, and color. While there are some common practices with the bohemian look, there are no hard and fast rules like there are with modern or minimalist (Vevano.com).
I thought my master bedroom was the perfect place to start. Wayfair has so many ideas on how to bring the Boho style into your space. I had a few items that I wanted to change in the room without replacing everything.

I love flat headboards that are soft to lean on in my master bedroom. There is so many options here for headboards on Wayfair, but the Annaalicia Upholstered Low Profile Platform Bed was my favorite.
I have a lot of pillows and chose to look for Boho style covers for them. They have quite a bit here to choose from on Wayfair. I loved the Life Styles Square Pillow and the Ralon Luxury Cotton Pillow the best.
I feel like a new throw is a great way to add a new look to the room. I found so many beautiful ones here on Wayfair. This Zaltbommel Throw was so fun and on sale too!
I love to have a place to sit at the end of my bed, and our current bench doesn’t fit this new style. I checked for few fun ideas here on Wayfair and ultimately loved the Liberty Pouf Ottoman.
I had such a great time getting ideas for my Master Bedroom Refresh on the Wayfair website and I can’t wait to get started on creating a new Boho style space in my bedroom this fall.
